4/16-18/10 Ten boys and three adults went camping at Dr. Polinsky's farm. This was our annual wilderness survival weekend. After fishing and a long hike in Mohician State Park, the boys constructed shelters to sleep the cold spring night in. With lashings, knots, tarps and collected wood, each of the structures looked strong to survive any wind of the night as well as protect the boys from the elements. Each of the boys persevered through the night to enjoy a nice donut breakfast. Ah, these are the campouts that stories are made of. |
