Rifle, Shotgun and Archery Campout 2010

10/15-17/10
Troop 121 enjoyed its annual rifle/shotgun campout at the Richland County Fish and Game.  A great fire on Friday helped keep the chill at bay.  Saturday morning the boys enjoyed rifle shooting and archery.  After a delicious lunch, the boys worked on their precision at the rifle range while others worked on their shotgun abilities firing at clay pigeons.
The troop was joined by Cub Scout Pack 121 for a wonderful evening mass provided by Father Chris. After a wonderful dinner, we held a fun campfire program filled with awards, songs, and a Cherokee Indian made quite a presentation.
Also joining the troop on the weekend was Troop 406 from Shelby and Troop 123 from Mansfield working on different service projects at the Fish and Game.
The boys always look forward to this weekend all year and weren't disappointed again this year.
